About the Event
A introductory workshop to AcroDance for ages 7-10 years taught by Karen Tower - qualified Acrobatic Arts Instructor.
AcroDance can be defined as 'the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements'. Current TV shows like ‘The Greatest Dancer’ are creating demand for acrobatics-inspired dance routines. We have chosen this syllabus due to the high importance they place on safe and effective progressions, and the standard of excellence they strive for in training the teachers to deliver strong, more flexible and fearless dancers.
No previous gymnastic or dance experience is required.
Classes on a regular basis will begin after May half term on Thursday 6th June at 5:30pm from Boxmoor Primary School.
