Now in its second year, our Annual Step-Up Competition will be held at Bovingdon Memorial Hall on Sunday 11th November at 11:30am. Pupils are encouraged to find a piece of music, make up their own dance, find a suitable costume, and perform in front of some friendly judges. Every pupil that enters receives a medal to recognise their hard work and courage. The judges award points for choreography, stage presence, use of stage, costume and interpretation of music, and the winners receive trophies. Dances should be no longer than 2 minutes. Performances can be as a solo, duet or group. Entry fees are £5 per performance and entries close on the 31st October. This is a great way to keep them dancing during the Summer holidays!! Audience tickets will be £3 and available on the day.
