In the last two years, we have entered many external competitions and we are enjoying the ‘comp circuit’. However, an internal competition gives our pupils the opportunity to make up dances to their favourite music and perform in front of an audience filled with BDA supporters. They don’t get enough opportunities in class to be creative with their ideas and styles..... and that is why we believe ‘Step Up’ is really important for our pupils.

BDA pupils can enter solos, duets, trios and small groups in any of the genres taught at BDA. We will invite judges external to the BDA teaching faculty to judge the competition. Every participant will receive a medal, those in 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each section will receive trophies.
