Street and Commercial dance are high-energy, confidence-boosting styles that children absolutely love. These classes are influenced by the exciting dance styles seen in music videos, live concerts, stage shows, and TV performances, making them hugely popular, current, and motivating for young dancers.

In Street dance, children learn dynamic, grounded movements that develop strength, coordination, rhythm, agility, and performance power. Commercial dance adds a performance-focused layer, helping dancers learn how to project confidence, style, and personality while moving with control and precision.

Choreography in Street and Commercial is always exciting and varied. One week dancers might be learning a routine to a chart-topping pop song, the next to a viral TikTok trend, and the next to a high-energy show or concert-style routine. This keeps dancers engaged, challenged, and eager to come to class each week.

At BDA, Street and Commercial classes are taught in a safe, age-appropriate, and encouraging environment, where children can grow in both skill and confidence. Alongside performance, dancers also learn important values such as discipline, teamwork, focus, and resilience.

We currently do not offer Street examinations, as these classes are designed to prioritise performance quality, creativity, and confidence in a fun, energetic environment.
